So much of the southwest offers a beautiful, quiet landscape, rich in animal diversity and plant life. If you’ve been to a Tracker School Standard class, you’ll often hear Tom say that the Southwest affords a Tracker the easiest Tracking environment possible. He is, of course, referring to the sandy areas of this landscape.
However, many Trackers become frustrated here when the substrate they’re Tracking on abruptly turns to stone, one of the most difficult Tracking mediums available. Yet, we know that every animal leaves its track on every substrate it steps upon, and these tracks can be accessed and analyzed through different methods of expanding your perception and awareness.
In this Focus class, students will learn tips, tricks, techniques, and exercises to help them Track over both sand and stone. Be ready to open up to the beautiful challenges of this unique Tracking environment and see what they have to offer!
